Translation Data:
Texts captured via OCR or system audio are processed solely for real-time translation. This data is never permanently stored or saved on our servers.
Telemetry & Cookies:
For product and website improvement, only anonymous technical data (such as OS version, basic web analytics) and cookies may be used. Data that could reveal your personal identity is never collected.
2. Data Security and Storage
Local API Storage:
All your API keys are stored solely on your own computer (locally). The application communicates directly with the relevant service provider (Google, DeepL, etc.); your keys are never seen by us or transmitted to our servers.
Real-Time Processing:
Your data is translated instantly based on a 'real-time processing' principle and is deleted from memory completely after transmission.
3. Third Parties
Payment and Infrastructure:
We use trusted services like Lemon Squeezy for licensing and secure payment processing, and Cloudflare R2 for update files. Your credit card data is never seen or stored by us.
Service Interruptions:
The free (Public) translation services offered within the app are for testing purposes. Any access blocks or interruptions that may occur in these services are the user's responsibility. We have no control over the data processing policies of third-party services.
4. Disclaimer and Refund Policy
AS IS (OLDUĞU GİBİ):
Glint Translator software is provided 'AS IS'. There is no guarantee that third-party free or paid public services will work without interruption or provide 100% accurate translations.
Refund Scope:
Changes in external providers' policies or interruptions due to service shutdowns cannot be considered a software defect and do not constitute a reason for a refund. Applicable consumer rights are reserved.
Age Restriction:
This software and website are not intended for individuals under the age of 13. Access by users under 13 is subject to parental consent.
5. In-Game Use and Anti-Cheat
Passive Operation Principle:
The software uses a passive screen reading (OCR) technology that does not interfere with game files or memory.
User Responsibility:
Anti-Cheat (Vanguard, etc.) decisions in competitive (multiplayer) games are entirely at the discretion of the respective game developer. In the event of an account restriction or ban due to the use of the app, all legal and financial liability is the exclusive responsibility of the user.
